calling all chocolate lovers.
Three (3) kinds of chocolate chips. In a chocolate cookie. Straight out of the oven, these bad boys are a giant ball of melty, delicious chocolate. Like, c’mon. I’m not sure it gets better than melty chocolate. Milk chocolate, semi-sweet chocolate, and dark chocolate are all packed into this cookie! Oh yeah, and walnuts. The walnuts are kind of like the cherry on top. Well, they are if you’re into that sort of thing. But we’re not talking about walnuts yet. Just about the chocolate. Because chocolate is what matters in life.
Naturally, with 3 kinds of chocolate melted into a chocolate dough, it’s bound to be rich. But no one is complaining about that! It just allows you more time to savor each bite, and each giant cookie. The walnuts are a perfect way to break up the chocolatey richness! This is actually a new discovery for me. I grew up with no nuts in my desserts, because that’s how my family liked it. But recently I’ve began experimenting and holy moly, what have I been missing. I learned that I love nuts in my desserts. That’s not something I thought I would ever say. But it’s true. Nuts in my cookies make my cookie heart complete.
yes. without walnuts is fine too.
I really won’t judge if you choose to omit the walnuts. When I make these cookies at my house, I actually make half with walnuts, and half without. Because nuts are thing that only have of this household likes. But lets do the math for a minute…no walnuts = ….A GIANT TRIPLE CHOCOLATE, CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE. Yeah. You can’t go wrong. It’s freaking delicious.
