We are over the teeny snickerdoodles. I swear, they are always bite size. At least, that’s how my grandma always made them. Delicious, crispy, bite sized, snickerdoodles. But that’s in the past. The new wave of cookies that’s taking over the world comes in GIANT form. And these giant snickerdoodles will make you never settle for bitesized cookies again.

What in the world are cinnamon chips, and where do I find them?! I will admit. These cookies are just a teeny bit harder to make than regular cookies, because you have to get your hands on some cinnamon chips. Which are a teeny bit hard to come by. Local (Utah) people, you will be able to find cinnamon chips at Orson Gygi! Not local people, you can order cinnamon chips from Orson Gygi, or you can also order them directly through Hershey’s. Grab a few bags of these like…NOW, to have on hand when you start craving giant snickerdoodles.

In addition to cinnamon chips, these are also packed with white chocolate chips. Crazy, right?! But it works. And you will never go back to regular snickerdoodles. These giant, white chocolate, cinnamon chip packed, snickerdoodles will take you to another place. It’s like a little slice of heaven. If you’ve had a rough day and need to go to a happy place, whip up a batch of these.

These giant snickerdoodles are like no other. They are packed with white chocolate and cinnamon chips!

  • 1 cup butter (cold)
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cup flour
  • 1 cup cake flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup cinnamon chips
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips


  • Preheat oven to 375.
  • In a stand mixer, cream together the butter and both sugars until light and fluffy. About 3 minutes.
  • Add in the eggs and mix until combined. 
  • Add in the flour, cake flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Mix until the flour is almost incorporated.
  • Add in the cinnamon chips and white chocolate chips and mix a few more seconds.
  • Divide cookie dough into 9 large balls.
  • Bake dough balls at 375 for 14-15 minutes - until the edges are golden brown.


Cake flour adds fluffiness and softness to your cookie. But you can use all regular flour if needed. Substitute ¾ cup regular AP flour for 1 cup of cake flour. You can find cake flour in the baking aisle at your local grocery store, or you can order it here.
