4 ingredient Butter Mashed Potatoes in just 4 steps?! Yes please! These will definitely be on my Thanksgiving table.

Ingredients
  1. 8 large russet potatoes
  2. 3/4 cup (1.5 sticks) butter
  3. 1/2 cup milk
  4. 1 tsp salt
Instructions
  1. Peel potatoes - [cut potatoes in half for faster cooking (optional)]
  2. Boil potatoes for 20-30 minutes until they are tender. Drain water.
  3. Add butter, salt and milk to potatoes.
  4. Using a potato masher, mash potatoes until they reach a perfect consistency.
Notes
  1. Taste as you go, you may want to add more salt. If potatoes seem too dry, add a little milk or a little butter.

    • I have never thought to put sour cream in my mashed potatoes! Once in a while I’ll put in garlic. But sour cream…I am definitely going to have to try that! Sounds AMAZING! Thanks for the suggestion 🙂
